Overview
The goal was to create a warm, welcoming home that felt current. We gave them simple clean lines that would complement the existing structure. We kept the original layout and tile as much as possible and kept the colors light and modern to help refresh the look.

How fortunate I was to participate in the National Symphony Orchestra Designer Showcase House in Washington, D.C. The mansion selected for decoration was built in 1907 in the historic and elegant Kalorama section of Washington, D.C.

The collective concept with this massive renovation was to modernize the existing house. The structure, though dated, had noteworthy lines and a substantial presence on the street already boasting one of the largest properties in all of Redondo Beach.
