The collective concept with this massive renovation was to modernize the existing house. The structure, though dated, had noteworthy lines and a substantial presence on the street already boasting one of the largest properties in all of Redondo Beach.

Overview

It sits amongst a mix of 1960’s beach cottages and 1990’s Tuscan style tall and skinnies which are prominent in the South Bay of Los Angeles. My Clients’ wish was to create a modern home that could be aesthetically appreciated in their surfing neighborhood while significantly harmonizing with their families urban yet casual lifestyle. I chose to accomplish the above by revitalizing the entire structure- inside and out! The incorporation of ‘wow' factors that were introduced whenever possible were inspired by my client and illustrate a non conventional thought process to display beautiful and bold personalities through appointments in exquisitely finished textures and bursts of vibrant color.
